Kelley is one of just three student-athletes from the Northeast Conference to earn All-Northeast Region recognition. She is joined on the list by Saint Francis U's Tesa McKibbon and Alecia McNiff.
Following her senior campaign as a Blue Devil, Kelley was named to the All-NEC First Team and was also selected to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl this Saturday at Merrimack College.
In four seasons, the midfielder has seen action in 66 games and is tied for second on the team with seven career goals. Kelley also leads the squad in career assists (12) and career points (26). Included in her seven goals are three game-winners.
This season, Kelley started all 19 games for CCSU and posted one goal and one assist. Her goal was the game-winner in overtime against Bryant on Nov. 1 and helped keep playoff hopes alive for the Blue Devils.
Central clinched an NEC Tournament playoff berth with its 3-1 win over Wagner on Nov. 3 before falling to Saint Francis U in the first round. The Blue Devils finished the season with a 5-3 NEC record and placed fourth at the 2013 NEC Championships.
