The Mutiny won the 2013 New England Division & East Conference title this season in large part to the team's defense which was led by Deiter. She allowed only five goals in 10 starts during the regular season and frequently made the key save that kept her team from defeat.
Deiter (8-1-5 record) missed only 10 minutes of playing time in net, notching eight shutouts overall. The Blue Devil was the catalyst for the Mutiny, who reached the WPSL National Championship for the sixth time in the team's existence.
The returning co-captain of the Blue Devil squad was also named 2012 Northeast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and awarded All-NEC First Team honors as a junior.
