Men's Basketball Takes On LIU Brooklyn at Home Saturday
The Blue Devils are 6-1 at home on the season.
The Central Connecticut men's basketball team will be looking to continue its winning ways at Detrick Gymnasium when it welcomes LIU Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon. The game will tip off at 3:30 p.m. as part of a CCSU basketball doubleheader with the women's game tipping off at 1:00 p.m. The Blue Devils have won two straight overall and are 6-1 at Detrick Gymnasium on the year.
The Blue Devils defeated Fairleigh Dickinson, 66-65, on Thursday when junior Deion Bute slammed home the game-winner with 3.4 seconds to play. The Blackbirds downed Bryant, 83-79, to win their third straight. CCSU is 10-10 (3-4 NEC) on the season, while LIU is 9-11 (4-3 NEC)and currently tied for third in the league standings.
Tickets for CCSU home games can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry to Kaiser Hall and Detrick Gymnasium. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.
