The Central Connecticut women's basketball team welcomes Bryant to Detrick Gymnasium on Saturday to start the second half of NEC play. The Blue Devils earned their second Northeast Conference win over LIU Brooklyn on Monday defeating the Blackbirds 63-57. The Bulldogs have split its last four contests coming off a 63-53 loss against Fairleigh Dickinson. CCSU and Bryant faced each other a week ago with Byrant prevailing 72-60.
Saturday is Alumni Day for women's basketball. Over 20 former Central Connecticut women's basketball players will be in attendance and recognized at halftime. Following the women's game, the men tip off at 3:30 p.m.

Kiana Patterson recorded her sixth 20+ point game this season after scoring 24 points against LIU. She leads the team with 16.9 per game, fifth in the NEC. The Troy, NY native is also fourth in conference for three pointers made at 43, averaging 2.4 per game. Patterson currently has 1,264 career points making her the sixth in the school record books. She is 26 points behind Melissa Prindiville (1990-95) who is fifth in career points with 1,290 points.
