Central Starts Two Game Road Series at Fairleigh Dickinson
The Blue Devils look for first NEC win on Saturday.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team continues NEC play on a two-game road trip. The team faces the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson inside the Rothman Center in Hackensack, N.J on Saturday, Jan. 12. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can follow the game on NECfrontrow.com.
Central dropped a 75-63 decision to Wagner Monday in New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils were led by 17 points from senior Kiana Patterson. The Seahawks led the entire game and pushed their lead to 17 with 3:26 remaining in the game. Taylah Simmons recorded her third double-double of the season with 19 points, 11 rebounds.

McCamus Makes a Difference • Off the bench, sophomore Emma McCamus is the third leading scorer for Central with 8.4 points per game. She has played in all 12 games this season averaging 21.4 minutes. She has the fourth highest free throw percentage (.730) and scored the second most points this season at 101.
Series History • Today marks the 42nd meeting between the Knights and Blue Devils. Central holds a 25-16 advantage in the overall series and has won 8 out of the last 10 games against FDU.
