Women's Basketball Closes Four-Game Road Series in Brooklyn
CCSU plays St Francis Brooklyn on Monday at 1 p.m.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team closes its four-game road series against the Terriers of St Francis Brooklyn on Monday afternoon. The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. inside the Pope Physical Education Center in Brooklyn Heights, NY. The game will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.
CCSU recently dropped a 70-62 decision against Wagner on Saturday in Staten Island. The game was tied 52-52 going into the fourth quarter but Wagner shot 10-of-21 (47.6 percent) from beyond the arc to outscore the Blue Devils 18-10 in the fourth to pull out the win. Senior Andi Lydon scored a season-high 19 points and totaled six rebounds, two steals, two assists, and one block.
St. Francis Brooklyn is coming off a 87-64 win against in-state rival LIU Brooklyn. Amy O'Neill recorded her second triple-double of the season, along with the program's second one as well. Jade Johnson secured 1,000 career points after dropping 20 points in the first half alone.
