Women's Basketball Welcomes Bryant on Saturday
Saturday will be a double-header with the men's team.

The Central Connecticut women's basketball team welcomes Bryant to Detrick Gymnasium on Saturday to start the second half of NEC play. The Blue Devils earned their second Northeast Conference win over LIU Brooklyn on Monday defeating the Blackbirds 63-57. The Bulldogs have split its last four contests coming off a 63-53 loss against Fairleigh Dickinson. CCSU and Bryant faced each other a week ago with Byrant prevailing 72-60.
Saturday is Alumni Day for women's basketball. Over 20 former Central Connecticut women's basketball players will be in attendance and recognized at halftime. Following the women's game, the men tip off at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets for CCSU home games can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry to Kaiser Hall and Detrick Gymnasium. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.

Series History • The Bulldogs hold a slight 13-10 advantage in the overall series against the Blue Devils.
Last Time vs. Bryant • Central fell to Bryant 70-62 last Saturday in Smithfield, RI. The Blue Devils trailed 25-12 at the end of the first quarter and despite a career-high 19 points from sophomore Emma McCamus, the team got the score within four, but could not overcome Bryant's early run.
Points by Patterson • Senior Kiana Patterson recorded her sixth 20+ point game this season after scoring 24 points against LIU. She leads the team with 16.9 per game, fifth in the NEC. The Troy, NY native is also fourth in conference for three pointers made at 43, averaging 2.4 per game. Patterson currently has 1,264 career points making her the sixth in the school record books. She is 26 points behind Melissa Prindiville (1990-95) who is fifth in career points with 1,290 points.
Up Next • Central goes on a four-game road trip with games at Saint Francis U, Robert Morris, Wagner, and St. Francis Brooklyn. The Blue Devils are back home on Feburary 23 against Sacred Heart.
