Lydon to Represent Women's Basketball at Barclays Center
Andi Lydon will be attending the NEC conference media day in Brooklyn, NY.
Central Connecticut women's basketball senior guard, Andi Lydon, will be accompanying 12th year head coach Beryl Piper to represent the Blue Devils at the 2018 Northeast Conference "Social" Media Day at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, on Wednesday, Oct. 24. The seventh edition of the NEC basketball season launch event will be available to stream live on both NEC Front Row and ESPN3 beginning at 11:00 a.m. NEC commentators Dave Popkin, Tim Capstraw and Craig D'Amico will serve as hosts of the telecast. The NEC will announce its men's and women's basketball preseason polls and All-Conference teams at the event.
Last season Lydon started all 30 games and averaged a team-high 32.0 minutes per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. She was the second on the team averaging 11.1 points per game. The Allison Park, PA native led the Blue Devils with 32 steals and shot .824 from the foul line.
Players and coaches will be interviewed during the telecast and made available to media attending the event.
