Dejah Jenkins, Jamey Napoleon, and Claire Sutherland-Case will join the Blue Devils in the 2019-2020 season.
Head Coach Beryl Piper announced Dejah Jenkins, Jamey Napoleon, and Claire Sutherland-Case to the Central Connecticut women's basketball team. The three signees will join the Blue Devils for the 2019-2020 season.
Jenkins, a 5'7 guard, has been a varsity starter since 7th grade. She attends Cathedral High School in Boston, MA. and currently has 1,500 career points. Jenkins was named one of the top 15 players in the state of Massachusetts and made the All-Scholastic Team as a junior. "Dejah is a good size point guard who will also be able to play at the shooting guard position," said Piper. "She is very crafty with the ball and can get to the rim and score with contact. Her ability to attack the rim and shoot the three will fit in perfectly with our style of play."

Lebanon High School to play for CCSU. She is a high motor athlete both offensively and defensively. She will dominate the glass as well as find ways to score around the rim. She will be a tough matchup in the post with her ability to score inside and take players away from the hoop." The dual-athlete is a member of the National Honor Society with a 4.6 GPA.
Sutherland-Case will be the third Canadian to join the women's basketball program. She attends the Westdale Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario and is the captain of the Westdale Warriors Senior Girls' Basketball Team.
