The Central Connecticut women's basketball team welcomes the America East's Albany Great Danes on Monday, Nov. 27 for the first ever contest between the two opponents. The Blue Devils and the Great Danes are set to tip-off inside William H. Detrick Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.

LYDON LEADS • Coming off of her season-best performacne at PSU, the Allison Park, PA product leads the women's basketball team in scoring and rebound through the first four matches of the 2017-18 regular season. Lydon is averaging 14.0 ppg (fifth in the NEC), 5.9 rpg (ninth in the NEC) and is draining 47.5 percent of her field goal attempts.
SERIES HISTORY • Monday night's contest with Albany marks the first meeting between the two schools. Albany, of the America East, visits the Blue Devils on a three-game winning streak after falling to Maryland in its season-opener.
MATCHUPS • Led by redshirt senior Jessica Fequiere who averages 19.3 ppg as the only Great Dane to average double-figures, Albany is shooting 41.4 percent from the floor and 40.4 percent from three as a unit. Junior forward Heather Forster averages a team-best 5.8 rebounds.
MOST RECENTLY FOR UALB • The Danes last defeated Northeast Conference member Wagner 89-44 at the SEFCU Arena in Albany, NY. UAlbany captalized 30 points off of 21 forced turnovers and had three players score in double-figures. Jessica Fequiere notched her 100th career free throw and 300th career rebound against the Seahawks.
NEW ARSENAL • Looking at the six newcomers on the 2017-18 women's basketball roster, rookie
Ashley Berube as made her presence known in the paint pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds and swatting away a impressive five blocks at Penn State on Nov. 20. Berube is second on the team in boards per game averaging 5.3. Graduate student
