Hollomon to Attend Rookie Mini-Camp With Atlanta Falcons
School's all-time leading rusher gets his chance
Central Connecticut all-time leading rusher Rob Hollomon will get a chance to show his skills and will attend Rookie Mini-Camp with the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. Hollomon, who became the only player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards in three seasons, will attend mini-camp beginning Friday.

Hollomon, a Preseason All-America and Walter Payton Watch List selection, was also a First Team All-NEC selection at running back after capping his record setting career with a third consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season. He was also an All-New England selection following the season.
Hollomon finished the year with 1,116 rushing yards on 228 attempts. He scored eight total touchdowns and accumulated 1,828 all-purpose yards while playing in 11 games. During the season he became CCSU's all-time leader in career rushing yards and finished with a career total of 3,672 yards.
He earned second team honors from the NEC last season and was also a The Sports Network All-America Second Team selection at the all-purpose position.
