CCSU Football Set for Spring Practice
The spring season will feature 15 practices over four weeks and conclude with the Spring Game on Friday, April 25.
The Central Connecticut football team will open its first season of Spring Practice under head coach Pete Rossomando on Monday, March 31. The spring season will feature 15 practices over four weeks and conclude with the Spring Game on Friday, April 25.
The Spring Game will kick off at 8 p.m. on Arute Field. Admission to the game will be free.
In addition to the Spring Game, the team will host a weekly scrimmage on Saturday morning.
The scrimmages on April 5, 12 and 19 will start at 9 a.m. and are open to the public.
Coach Rossomando and his staff will also be opening all practices to any high school football coaches that would like to attend. Coaches interested in attending a practice should contact assistant coach Alberto Cordero at acordero@ccsu.edu or (860) 832-3097.
In addition to the Saturday morning scrimmages, practices will be held in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
