Pauldo Earns NEC Rookie Honor

Central Connecticut football freshman Tavion Pauldo was named Northeast Conference Football Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon. The freshman quarterback from Cleveland Heights, Ohio made an impact in the first half of the Blue Devils game at Dartmouth.
Despite playing a limited number of snaps, Pauldo made his presence felt in the 35-25 loss. The rookie quarterback was responsible for 102 yards of total offense and two touchdowns. He put Central Connecticut on the scoreboard with an 18-yard pass to Aaron Berardino 8:02 into the contest.
His second touchdown, a 1-yard run, gave Central a 19-7 lead over the Big Green with 2:28 to play in the first half.
Pauldo finished 4-of-4 passing for 52 yards while running eight times for 50 yards.
