Eight Added to Football Coaching Staff
Head football coach Pete Rossomando has announced nine members of his coaching staff for his first year at CCSU.

"I am excited about this coaching staff," Rossomando said. "I think they are a talented group that will lead, teach and mentor the exceptional young men of our program on and off the field."
Coaching Staff
Holman Copeland – Assistant Coach/Outside Linebackers
Alma Mater: Clarion University of Pennsylvania '05
Previous Experience:
2012-13 – University at Buffalo, Assistant Linebackers Coach
2011-12 – East Stroudsburg University, Defensive Line Coach
2010-11 – University of New Haven, Defensive Backs Coach
2009-10 – Harry S. Truman High School, Defensive Coordinator/ Secondary/Running Backs Coach
2007-09 – East Stroudsburg University, Graduate Assistant Coach
Bio: In seven years of coaching, Copeland has worked at levels ranging from high school to FBS Division I. His most recent stop was a pair of seasons with the University of Buffalo where he worked with the linebackers. He previously coached defensive line at East Stroudsburg for a year and defensive backs at New Haven for a year. Copeland's first coaching position was as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg, while there he earned a Master of Science in Sports Management.

2006-10 – University of Connecticut, Student Assistant for Defense & Special Teams
Bio: Joined head coach Pete Rossomando's staff at the University of New Haven after spending four years working as a student assistant at his alma mater, the University of Connecticut. Cordero assisted the defense, special teams and strength and conditioning coaches during his time working with the Huskies. At New Haven, Cordero spent time as a graduate assistant and volunteer assistant coach focusing on the linebackers. He also served as the video coordinator and assisted with strength and conditioning while with the Chargers.
Daryl Daleen – Special Teams Coordinator/Linebackers

Bio: Worked under head coach Pete Rossomando at the University of New Haven from 2008-2013. Daleen held a number of titles with the Chargers including, serving as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator during the 2013 season. Prior to being named defensive coordinator and assistant head coach he served as New Haven's special teams coordinator and defensive line coach. Daleen has also made coaching stops at Pikeville College and Newberry College. He worked with the defense at both institutions and spent a year as the defensive coordinator for Pikeville.
Ron DiGravio – Assistant Coach/Defensive Line

Bio: Spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line at Harvard University. Prior to Harvard, DiGravio spent three seasons on the coaching staff at the University of New Haven. While with the Chargers, he had stints coaching the wide receiver and running back positions. DiGravio's first coaching position came in 2008 at King's College where he worked with the linebackers.
Jon Leible – Assistant Coach/Offensive Line

Bio: Worked under head coach Pete Rossomando for four years at the University of New Haven. Last season, Leible was promoted to assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator, while also maintaining his duties with the Chargers' offensive line. Played college football in the Northeast Conference for the Great Danes of the University of Albany.

Bio: A former tight end for the Harvard Crimson football team, Jenkins has been involved with coaching at the high school and college level since the end of his playing career. At the collegiate level Jenkins was on the staff at the University of Tulsa in 2009 and also spent a year at Central Connecticut in 2008. During his first stint with the Blue Devils, Jenkins coached the tight ends and also handled football operations.
David Stedman –Assistant Coach/Running Backs

Previous Experience:
2013 – Francis T. Maloney High School, Offensive/Defensive Line Coach
Bio: Stedman played college football for head coach Pete Rossomando at the University of New Haven. While with the Chargers, he was a two-time All-America selection and a three-time first team all-conference selection. He began his coaching career in the Fall of 2013 as an assistant coach at nearby Maloney High School in Meriden, CT.
Hugh Villacis – Assistant Coach/Tight Ends
Alma Mater: Western Connecticut State University '89

1990-10 – Wesleyan University, Assistant Football Coach
Bio: A 20-year veteran of collegiate coaching, Villacis most recently coached tight ends at the University of New Haven from 2010-2013. Prior to New Haven, he coached at Wesleyan University from 1990-2010, working with the offensive and defensive lines.
