Baseball Drops Game Two to Towson on Friday
Blue Devils will travel to Navy on Saturday and Sunday
The Central Connecticut baseball team dropped game two of a doubleheader on the road at Towson on Friday. The Blue Devils lost game two 6-0, and are now 0-2 on the season. They will travel to Navy for a pair of single nine-inning games on Saturday and Sunday.
Senior Mitch Wells recorded the only hit of the game for the Blue Devils, it came in the seventh inning.
Junior Todd Savatsky pitched five innings for the Blue Devils in his seaosn debut. He allowed six hits and four earned runs while walking two.
Sophomore Nick Boyd pitched the sixth inning allowing one hit while striking out one.
The Blue Devils hit into three double plays in the loss.
Central returns to action on Saturday with a single game on the road at Navy.
