Women's Indoor Track Competes at Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener
The CCSU women's indoor track team sent four athletes to compete in four events at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday.
The CCSU women's indoor track team sent four athletes to compete in four events at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday. Alissa Hurd finished first in the high jump for the Blue Devils.
HIGHLIGHTS
HIGH JUMP - Alissa Hurd - 1.65m (5' 5") - 1st out of 17
The schools that competed in this event included Quinnipiac, Vermont, Marist, MIT, and Williams.
MILE RUN - Ashley Dana - 4:49.40 - 18th out of 62
The Senior was 5th in her heat
A few of the schools that competed in the opener included Oklahoma State, Oregon, Clemson, Florida, and Michigan State.
400 METER RUN - Tamara Rawles - 58.86 - 8th out of 24
The sophomore was second in her heat and finished inside the top 10 for the Blue Devils.
