Track and Field Concludes Opening Weekend of Outdoor Season
CCSU Track and Field ended their three-day season-opening meet at Raleigh Relays on Saturday night; They also had athletes competing in the Bryant Black and Gold Invitational this weekend as well.

- Riley Powers ran the 800m in 2:18.41 for 9th place.
- Juliana Cancellieri placed seventh in the 5000m for Central Connecticut (17:51.29).
- Taina DeJesus took home second in the 400mH (1:05.65). FR Central Connecticut 1:05.65
- Alexandria Klopfer placed 9th in the 3K Steeplechase final after running in 13:37.00.
- Central Connecticut placed 6th (4:05.47) in the 4x400 relay.
- Aaliyah Walker placed 4th with an 11.50m leap in the Triple Jump.
- Wenesha Stewart recorded a 38.47 Discus throw to place 8th.
