Barnum Earns NEC Special Teams Player Of The Week
Kicker was 2-2 on field goals and 2-2 on PAT at Duquesne.
Jack Barnum was named the Northeast Conference football Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday. It is the second time this season that the sophomore has been recognized with the award by the league office.
Barnum maintained his perfection from inside 50-yards on Saturday, with a 2-2 performance on field goals. In rainy conditions, he made field goals from 32 and 44 yards for the Blue Devils. Barnum was 2-2 on PAT's and averaged 53.8 yards per kickoff in the game.
A graduate of Southington High School, Barnum is 9-9 on field goal attempts within 50 yards, with a long of 48-yards. He is 18-18 on PAT's this fall and leads the Blue Devils with 45 points.
CCSU completes a short two-game road trip on October 21, travelling to NEC foe Wagner for at 12:00 pm game. The Blue Devils then return home to host LIU on CBS Sports Network on Thursday, October 26th at 7:00 pm.
