Boatwright has Blue Devils second blocked punt in as many weeks
The Central Connecticut State football team took to the road for the first time this season and fell 38-10 to host Kent State University.
For the second consecutive week, the Blue Devils blocked a punt. Tyler Boatwright came around the edge early in the fourth quarter and blocked a Charlie Dunkin punt. Isaih Williams was able to recover it and the special team's effort led to a 22-yard field goal by Jack Barnum with 11:08 to play.

- Montgomery recorded the Blue Devils first interception of the year and the second of his collegiate career (2019 while at Charleston Southern)
- Toddreis Baltimore had a career-high tackle total, finishing with nine stops
- Clark has 23 stops in the past two games, reaching double-digits in both outings
- Davion Johnson led the team with 35 yards rushing, while Matt Jenner contributed 30 yards on the ground
- Johnson also had three catches on the day
- Garcia finished with 125 rushing yards for Kent State, while Harris had 94 receiving yards
- Alaimo finished 12-16 for 172 yards passing
