NEC Announces Football To Host LIU On CBS Sports Network
The game with LIU will be moved to Thursday, October 26 at 7:00 pm
The Central Connecticut football team will add a second game under the lights on Arute Field this season, this time on national television. The Northeast Conference announced today that the Blue Devils league game against LIU will be played on CBS Sports Network on Thursday, October 26.
"Playing under the lights always adds a sense of excitement to a game," said Blue Devils head football coach Adam Lechtenberg. "This is a great opportunity to showcase our University and football program to a national television audience, and we look forward to playing a challenging opponent and treating our fans to a great game."
The Blue Devils appearance on CBSSN, along with the October 12th Wagner at Saint Francis matchup, mark the first two linear television appearances in the history of NEC Football. Fans can catch the action on CBSSN, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, available through major cable, satellite, and telco distributors, as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, DirecTV, and Hulu. Additionally, CBS Sports Network offers a live stream through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App, accessible by authenticating with select providers.
