Reid Heads Central in First Two Rounds
Central is tied for third after day one of the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invite.
The Central Connecticut women's golf team wrapped up day one of the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational in a third place tie (326/323/649). Central is tied with Fairfield (327/322/649) and trails only second place Wagner (319/329/648) along with tournament leader Robert Morris (324/322/646).
The event is being hosted by Mount St. Mary's at Quail Valley Golf Club in Littlestown, PA. The par-72 course is playing 6,202 yards long.
Blue Devil junior Katie Reid had her two lowest round scores of the spring season shooting a 77 in round one and a 78 in round two (77/78/155). She is currently second on the individual leader board and leads all Blue Devils.
Junior Stephanie Bednar is tied for eighth place individually and carded a round two 78, her lowest score of the day (83/78/161). Freshman Albrianna Farnum shot a pair of 81's (81/81/162) and is in 11th place. Junior Anna Ausanio is tied for 17th (85/86/171) and sophomore Elisabeth Beloin is in 26th place (90/86/176).
The third and final round of the tournament will be played tomorrow, April 17th.
