DeJohn Climbs to 14th, CCSU 9th at Towson
Matthew DeJohn shot a team best 74 on Monday.
The Central Connecticut men's golf team is currently in a ninth place tie after a second round score of 313. The Blue Devils are tied with St. Peter's and host Towson.
Central dropped to ninth after being in seventh place on Sunday, shooting a 308 in the first round. They currently lead Northeast Conference rivals Mount St. Mary's (19th) and Robert Morris (22nd).
Senior Matthew DeJohn penciled in a 74 on Monday to climb the individual leader board to a 14th place tie. Teammate and Senior Captain Dan Fanion is also tied with DeJohn for 14th place after writing in a 77 in the second round.
Sophomore Kevin Jud is tied for 50th after his best round of the tournament so far, a 78 on Monday. Sophomore Monte Mullen and freshman Jack Ayers are both tied for 91st place after shooting an 84 and 86 respectively.
William & Mary leads the team leader board again on Monday. They are seven strokes over par after two rounds shooting a 291 on Sunday and a 290 today.
The third and final round of the tournament will be under-way tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2nd.
