Women's Cross Country Finishes Third at Blue Devil Invitational
The Central Connecticut women's cross country team came away with a third place finish at the Blue Devil Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain. Competing in the event along with the Blue Devils was Southern Connecticut, Holy Cross, the University of New Haven, and the University of Connecticut. Central Connecticut finished with 79 points behind Holy Cross who finished second with 54 points and the University of Connecticut who finished first with 15 points.

Sophomores Elizabeth Eberhardt and Krisztina Dearborn finished among the top fifteen runners in the meet which totaled 50 runners. Eberhardt was the first Blue Devil to cross the finish line with a time of 19:02 good for 11th place in the event. Following right behind Eberhardt was Dearborn with a time of 19:04 good for 12th place.
Other notable Blue Devil times were Amanda Asaro who finished in 19:34, Shannon McBride in 19:44, Megan MacBryde in 21:09, Sara Larkin in 21:30 and Shelby Hale in 21:57.
