Volleyball Tabbed Fifth in NEC Preseason Poll

The Northeast Conference announced its volleyball preseason coaches' poll on Thursday. Central Connecticut State University was tabbed fifth, while Saint Francis U was picked as the preseason favorite.

2024 Volleyball Schedule

Head coach Alyssa Broccoli will begin her 1st season as head coach for the Blue Devils.
SFU collected four first-place votes and was picked first, just ahead of LIU which collected the other four first place votes. FDU and Chicago State rounded out the top four.
The Blue Devils open Northeast Conference play at home against Chicago State on October 4 and 5.
CCSU will close the regular season at LIU on November 15 and 16.
The 2024 NEC Tournament will feature the top-four finishers in the regular season, with the tournament champion advancing to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament will be held at the highest seed on November 22 and 23.
