Volleyball Announces 2024 Slate
The Central Connecticut State University volleyball program announced its 2024 slate on Wednesday. First-year head coach Alyssa Broccoli and the Blue Devils will open the season on August 30 against Coppin State.
Game times will be posted at a later date.
2024 Volleyball Schedule Highlights
- Head coach Alyssa Broccoli will be in her first season in charge of the CCSU program.
- The Blue Devils will host nine home contests, including eight Northeast Conference matchups.
- Central will welcome Saint Peter's on September 17 for its home-opener.
- Central will play in three tournaments, including the season-opening Red Storm Invitational on August 30-31.
- The Blue Devils will compete in the Fairfield Invitational (Sept. 5-7), and the Holly Young Invitational at New Hampshire (Sept. 20-21).
- CCSU will open Northeast Conference play against Chicago State on October 4 and 5.
- The Blue Devils will host FDU (Oct. 18-19), Le Moyne (Nov. 1-2) and Stonehill (Nov. 8-9).
- Central will play NEC contests on the road at Saint Francis U (Oct. 11-12), Mercyhurst (Oct. 25-26) and LIU (Nov. 15-16).
- The 2024 NEC Tournament will be played November 22-23. The championship will include the top four teams in the regular season standings and be hosted at the site of the highest seed.
