Blue Devils Complete Day One at Hawaii
Anna Ausanio led Central carding a 157 on day one.
The Central Connecticut women's golf team stands in 16th place after the first two rounds of the Hawaii Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. Rounds one and two were played on Tuesday, March 12th while round three will wrap up the tournament on Wednesday, March 13th.
Arizona leads all teams in first place followed by second place Ohio State and third place Louisville. Gonzaga is in fourth while Mississippi and New Mexico are tied for fifth. The Blue Devils marked down a team score of 649 on day one, 323 in round one followed by a 326 in round two.
Senior Anna Ausanio leads her team after shooting a 157 on Tuesday. Her first round marked her best round score as she wrote in a 78. She then shot a 79 in her second round and is currently tied for 44th on the individual leader board.
Sophomore Albrianna Farnum is tied for 51st after shooting a day-one 159, a 79 in round on and an 80 in round two. Senior Katie Reid carded a 166 and is tied for 80th while freshman Sarah Boden is tied for 82nd after shooting a 167. Junior Gina Grant marked down a 180.
The Blue Devils will tee off tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. EST. Wednesday will see the third and final round of action.
