Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Mission Inn Spring Fling
The Central Connecticut men's golf team has completed its first tournament of the Spring. The Blue Devils finished 10th at this weekend's Mission Inn Spring Fling in Howey-in-Hills, Florida. The Blue Devils posted their lowest score of the tournament on Sunday with a 305 stroke performance on Sunday. The team finished with a 62 over-par 926 for the three rounds.

Senior Eric Hawerchuk was the top Blue Devil this week. He used only 230 strokes to finish his three rounds this weekend. His best round came on Sunday when he posted a two over-par 74 to close out the weekend. His performance earned him a tie for 26th in the tournament.
Senior Justin Hughes posted a team-best round of 73 on Sunday. That performance helped him finish tied for 35th with 232 strokes.
Sophomore Dan Fanion finished one stroke behind Hughes with 233. He tied for 39th at the tournament.
Filling out the Blue Devils scorecard were freshman Daniel Morgan who finished tied for 51st with 236 strokes and junior Kevin Josephson recorded 245 strokes to finish 68th.
Stetson earned the team title with 885 strokes for the tournament.
The Blue Devils return to the golf course next week in Williamsburg, VA, as they visit William and Mary for the C & F Intercollegiate.
