Trio of Blue Devils Playing in WPSL
Robinson, Souza and Deiter contributing already to the New England Mutiny
Three current Central Connecticut women's soccer players are currently playing with the New England Mutiny of the Women's Premier Soccer League. The Women's Premier Soccer League is an independent national league whose main focus is on the development of highly competitive premier women's soccer teams.
"It is great that some of our players have an opportunity to play in the WPSL with the New England Mutiny," CCSU's head coach Mick D'Arcy said. "It helps them to stay sharp throughout the summer."

NEW ENGLAND MUTINY HOMEPAGE
Jewel Robinson and Nikola Deiter, who will both be seniors for the Blue Devils this fall, are joined by transfer Tori Sousa on the Mutiny roster this year. The WPSL season runs from May 1 until August 1 each year.
All three Blue Devils contributed to a 3-1 Mutiny victory over the New Hampshire Phantoms on Saturday night. Sousa posted a goal and an assist in the first game of the season for the Mutiny. Robinson added a goal and Deiter made three saves in goal to help their team start its season with a victory.
The team will play again on Wednesday night, May 29, on the road against Boston Breakers Academy. Their next home game will be on Saturday, June 1 at 7:05 p.m. Home games for the Mutiny are played at East Longmeadow High School in East Longmeadow, MA.
