Lacrosse Tabbed Seventh In NEC Poll
Blue Devils open the season on February 12th
The Northeast Conference unvieled the 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll for women's lacrosse on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Devils were tabbed seventh by the league's head coaches.
CCSU will open its 2025 season on February 12th travelling to Quinnipiac for the first of three consecutive road games to start the season. The home opener comes on March 5th when the Blue Devils host Lafayette at 3:00 pm on Arute Field.
LIU was tabbed as the preseason favorite for the conference, with Stonehill second and Le Moyne third. WAgner was tabbed fifth, with FSU fifth, FDU sixth and Central. Delaware State, Mercyhurst and Howard rounded out the 10 team poll.
The top four teams in the regular season will earn postseason berths. The regular season champion will host the NEC Tournament May 1-3, 2025, with the tournament champion earning an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship field.
