Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Team And Individual Academic Honors
Eight Blue Devils were recognized for their success in the classroom.
The Central Connecticut lacrosse team was honored for its success in the classroom, with the announcement of the IWLCA Academic Awards. The Blue Devils earned 2024 Academic Honor Squad recognition.
Eight Blue Devils received individual recognition, being named to the IWLCA Division I Honor Roll. Alexa Efron, Mikayla Lecci, An Poropat, Meredith Ravizza, Talie Richardson, Kya Risher, Lauren Valluzzi and Shaelyn Yermal posted cumulative GPA over 3.5 and are juniors or above.
To qualify for the team honor, the team must post a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
The IWLCA honored 1,163 student-athletes from 113 different institutions on the 2024 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. The IWLCA recognized 325 schools for the Academic Honor Roll Squads.
