Hartford Tops Central Connecticut In Golf Shootout

Freshman Anna Ausanio recorded the next lowest score for CCSU on Sunday, tying for sixth place with a round of 88. Senior Natalie Jones and freshman Katie Reid rounded out the scoring rounds for Central. The former tied for eighth with a score of 90, while the latter carded a 93 to tie for 10th on the day.
Junior Chelsea Woods placed 12th with an 18-hole score of 95, while senior Lisa McCormick and sophomore Jennie Dyson participated as individuals. McCormick, who along with Jones competed in their final home tournament of their careers, finished the day in 97. Dyson posted a 104 for the Blue Devils.
Hartford's Sarah Sideranko won medalist honors with a low round of 80. The Hawks placed four scoring players under 87 to defeat Central 332-355 on Sunday.
