Women's Basketball Falls 81-52 at the Mount.
Turnovers and a tough shooting night leads to a 29 point loss for the Blue Devils.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team fell 81-49 on the road against Mount St. Mary's. CCSU led for a total of 59 seconds in the entire game.The Blue Devils move to 2-3 on the season and 2-3 in NEC play. Mount St. Mary's improves to 4-1 in the conference and 5-3 overall.
Seniors Emma McCamus and Angelique Rodriguez led the way for the Blue Devils, each contributing 9 points. Ashley Forker added 6 points and a team high 8 rebounds as well.
The Blue Devils shot just 19-61 from the floor (31.1%) and allowed the Mountaineers to shoot 36-72 as a team (50.0%).
Junior Michaela Harrison scored a season high 16 points for Mount St. Mary's. Kayla Agentowicz also scored in double figures, adding 11 points on 5-6 shooting. Ten different players saw the floor for the Mount, and each player scored at least 2 points in the ball game.
The Blue Devils have yet to win consecutive games this season.

Emma McCamus missed a quick shot with 24 seconds remaining in the half, which led to a layup for Mount St. Mary's at the final seconds to give the Mountaineers a 46-34 lead.

Carly Reynolds scored on a nice post move with 5:55 left in the third quarter to cut the lead to single digits. The Mount responded right away with an and one from Michaela Harrison.

A turnover by Lanpher with 1:00 left in the third led to a breakaway layup to give the Mount a 64-44 lead. The Blue Devils shot just 3-17 (18.8%) from the floor in the third quarter and committed 6 costly turnovers.

The Mount opened up the final quarter on a 11-0 run, extending its lead to 77-44.

CCSU did not score in the fourth until the 3:28 mark as Forever Toppin made a layup plus the foul.
