Blue Devils Host a Pair of Games Against Bryant
The Blue Devils look to get back in the winning column.
CCSU hosts the Bryant Bulldogs on Tuesday Feb. 9 at 4:00 pm and again on Wednesday Feb.10 at 7:00 pm. The Blue Devils come in with a record of 2-6 overall and 2-6 in NEC play. The Bulldogs stand at 4-4 overall and 2-2 in NEC play. No fans will be allowed to attend the games, but they will stream live for free on NEC Front Row.

The Blue Devils suffered a pair of losses against in-state rivals Sacred Heart back on Jan. 28 & 30. Forever Toppin netted a season high 17 points on Saturday, shooting 6-11 from the floor, including 2-5 from three. Freshman Belle Lanpher averaged 8.5 points in the two losses. She also added 2 assists in each game off of the bench. Sophomore guard Dejah Jenkins made her first start of the season on Saturday, adding 8 points, 2 rebounds, and a career high 4 assists in the loss.
Bryant recently lost a pair of games at home versus first place Saint Francis U on Jan. 14 & 15. Brooke Bjelko scored a career high 30 points on 14-18 shooting in the first meeting, but was held to just 9 points in the second game. Fatou Jallow and Nicole Gallagher each scored in double figures in the second game for the Bulldogs.

The Blue Devils can earn its first win in 2021, with the last win coming 50 days ago on Dec. 20 at home against Fairleigh Dickinson.
