Men's Track Takes Flight at Princeton on Friday
Senior Tyler Latham posted the top finish for CCSU on day one of the Larry Ellis Invitational.
The Central Connecticut men's track and field kicked off the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday, April 20 at Weaver Stadium. Senior Tyler Latham posted the top finish of the day for the Blue Devils in 13th place in the javelin with a throw of 49.18 meters.
Junior K.J. Smith threw a personal best mark of 47.22 in the javelin and placed 17th overall.
Senior Austin Trainior placed 20th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:20.56. Sophomore Richard Grudzwick placed 31st in the 800 meter with a time of 1:53.67.
The men's events will begin at 12:15 p.m. tomorrow in the 4x100 meter relay.
