Vestergaard Earns Second Northeast Conference Weekly Honor

Madison Vestergaard earned her second straight Northeast Conference Diver of the Week honor for her performance at the Sonny Werblin Invitational this weekend. It marks the third time in the CCSU sophomore's career that she has received the accolades.

Madison Vestergaard earned her second straight Northeast Conference Diver of the Week honor for her performance at the Sonny Werblin Invitational this weekend. It marks the third time in the CCSU sophomore's career that she has received the accolades.

Vestergaard was the top diver for CCSU for the second week in a row, placing sixth in both the one-meter and three-meter events at Rutgers over the weekend. She totaled 185.65 points in the one-meter dive and scored a 166.40 in the three-meter event to lead the Blue Devils.

Central will next compete on Sunday November 1 when they take on Southern Connecticut and Sacred Heart in New Haven.
