2013 NEC "Social" Media Day
The Northeast Conference will host its second "Social" Media Day on Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The Central Connecticut men's and women's basketball programs will be represented at Northeast Conference "Social" Media Day tomorrow at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The event can will be streamed live for fans on NECFrontRow.com starting at 11 a.m. Blue Devil fans can log on and watch live interviews with head women's basketball coach Beryl Piper and senior captain Jessica Babe.
Head men's basketball coach Howie Dickenman and senior forward Terrell Allen will also be interviewed live by long time NEC television Dave Popkin and Tim Capstraw.
The #NECinNYC event is designed to enhance the fan experience with the proceedings to air live and in HD on NEC Front Row beginning at 11:00 a.m. NEC Media Day will also air on delay in condensed form on Fox College Sports (FCS) in early November.

The interactive nature of NEC Media Day will begin well in advance of the event. Fans can tweet questions for NEC coaches to @NECsports or by using the hashtag #NECinNYC. During the broadcast, NEC Director of Social Media Ralph Ventre and Matt Martucci will be interacting with fans and highlighting the best tweets on air. By using the hashtag #NECinNYC, the most active and engaging tweeters will have the opportunity to win NEC prize packs.
