Men's Soccer Outscored at Quinnipiac on Tuesday
The Central Connecticut men's soccer team came up short at Quinnipiac after the teams combined for six first-half goals in Hamden, CT. The Bobcats scored the first four goals enroute to a 5-1 win. Ethan Agyare-Danso scored his first career goal for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils host Rhode Island on Saturday.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Bobcats opened the scoring 7:43 into the game building up an attack when Terrance Wilder, Jr. and William Holum passes led to the ball being laid off in front of the net. Filip Kangeman took a shot inside the area, putting it into the lower left corner to make it 1-0.
- Quinnipiac doubled the lead in the 16th minute on a sequence of one-touch passes in the attacking zone. Kangeman would send a low cross in front to Drew Seguro who left the ball for Kangeman, who put his shot into the lower left to make it 2-0.
- Quinnipiac added a pair of goals in the span of just over a minute. At 21:41, Langwagen chipped a cross from the endline that found Noe Cabezas in front of the net and he side-volleyed his shot to make it 3-0. Just 1:17, later QU would add another when Cabezas volleyed in a shot to the lower left to make it a four-goal lead.
- Central got a goal back in the 28th minute on a counter-attack. Taichi Yamada would get the ball on the right side and slid a through-ball to Ethan Agyare-Danso, who chipped his shot over the sliding goalkeeper to make it 4-1.
- QU added another goal before halftime when Ramesh Delsouz sent a long pass ahead to Bejamin Telle along the right side of the field. Telle would take a shot from outside 18 yards that went into the upper right corner.
- The teams were both held scoreless in the second half.

- The Bobcats are 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in the series.
- CCSU had just four shots in the game with Agyare-Danso's shot being the only one on target.
- Quinnipiac also had a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.
- Mick Sipples played the second half in goal and made two saves for Central. Michel Pinoncely made three saves in the first period.
