Series History • This is the seventh meeting in the all-time series between these programs with CCSU holding a 4-2 advantage. Bryant won last season's meeting 29-16 and won the previous year 28-25, but prior to that CCSU won the first four meetings, including both that were played in Smithfield. CCSU last played at Bryant in 2011, winning 42-21.
Three 1,000-Yard Seasons • Senior Rob Hollomon set CCSU's career rushing record two weeks ago against Robert Morris, but he is now just 72 yards shy of rushing for 1,000 yards for the third straight season. Hollomon has rushed for 3,484 yards as a Blue Devil and if he can reach 1000 yards this year he would be the first CCSU football player with three seasons of 1,000+ rushing yards.
Good Against the CAA • The Blue Devils and Bulldogs have a combined 4-1 record against the Colonial Athletic Association this season. The Blue Devils defeated then #7 Towson in the season opener and blew out Rhode Island on Sept. 27, while Bryant topped Stony Brook to open the year and beat #20 Maine two weeks later. The only loss came on Sept. 6 when the Blue Devils fell to Albany, a team that has since climbed into the national rankings.
Holmes' Big Day • Senior wide receiver Tyrell Holmes had a big game against Wagner with 165 yards on seven catches. His day included a 69-yard touchdown reception, which accounted for CCSU's only touchdown in the 20-10 loss.

After blocking a punt against Robert Morris on Oct. 18, the Blue Devil special teams blocked a field goal attempt on Saturday against Wagner. Both plays came in the fourth quarter, this time it was senior Chris Abner doing the honors.
Another ESPN3 Opportunity • Thanks to the Northeast Conference's television package the CCSU game against Bryant on November 1 will also be available to watch live on ESPN3.com. Hollomon Sets CCSU Career Rushing Mark • With a short run up the middle late in the second quarter on Oct. 18 against Robert Morris, senior running back Rob Hollomon became the Blue Devils' all-time leading rusher. Next up for SanGiacomo is Sam Tirone (1992-94) who threw for 4,413 yards in his career.

Hollomon Moving up the Scoring List • Senior Rob Hollomon became CCSU's all-time leader in rushing yards on Oct. 18, but he is also moving up the career scoring list. Stan House's all-time record of 288 (48 touchdowns) is safe for now, but Hollomon (192) enters the day just 14 points behind James Mallory (206) for the second spot on the career list.
