Volleyball Falls to St. Francis (NY)
The Central Connecticut Volleyball team fell to St. Francis of (NY) 3-2 on Friday evening. The Blue Devils are now 8-16 on the season and 5-7 in Northeast Conference Action. The Blue Devils recorded 24 blocks as a team in the loss.

The Blue Devils dropped the opening set 27-25. Sophomore Emily Cochran had four kills in the first set to lead the Blue Devils.
Central rebounded taking the second set 25-17 and the third set 25-15. Cochran added 6 more kills in the second set, while junior Sara DeLacey had a pair of kills and three blocks. The Blue Devils were led in the third set by DeLacey who recorded five kills.
The Blue Devils dropped the fourth set 25-17 before falling 15-8 in the fifth and final set.
DeLacey had a .667 hitting percentage recording kills on 16 of 24 attacks in the match. Senior Amanda Bayer recorded a match high 59 assists, Senior Kaitlin Petrella made 19 digs, and Cochran had 15 kills. Sophomore Blaike King and DeLacey each had 16 kills for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils return to action on Saturday at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
