Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision on the Road at St. Francis (PA) on Saturday
The Central Connecticut volleyball team dropped its second straight Northeast Conference match on Saturday, falling 3-1 on the road at St. Francis (PA). Sophomore Emily Cochrane led the offensive attack with 15 kills. The Blue Devils are now 3-11 overall and 1-2 in NEC play. They return to action at Robert Morris on Sunday.

St. Francis (PA) won the first two sets, 27-25 and 25-22, before
the Blue Devils rebounded to take set three 25-13. The home Red
Flash completed the victory with a 26-24 score in the fourth
set.
Cochran's 15 kills led the Blue Devils, while teammate Jamie
Rademacher added 13 kills. Senior Amanda
Bayer had 39 assists to lead the offensive attack.
Senior Kaitlin
Petrella's 22 digs led the Blue Devil defense. Tori
Vaughan had four block assists and added six kills. Sophomore
Blaike
King had seven kills in the loss.
The Blue Devils finish their weekend trip to Pennsylvania at Robert
Morris on Sunday at 1 p.m.
