Blue Devil Volleyball Drops Three Set Match at Sacred Heart on Sunday
The Central Connecticut volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road at Sacred Heart on Sunday. With the loss the Blue Devils are now 5-14 overall and 2-5 in Northeast Conference play. Sacred Heart improves to 19-4 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

The Pioneers remained unbeaten in the league with the 3-0 win.
They won 25-9, 25-20 and 25-19 to move to 8-0 in the league.

DeLacey led the Blue Devil offense with 10 kills in the match.
She made only one error and hit .429 for the match. Sophomore Emily
Cochran added seven kills and classmate Blaike
King had five. Senior Amanda
Bayer had 24 assists to lead the attack.
Senior Kaitlin
Petrella had 20 digs to lead the defense, Bayer added 18. Jamie
Rademacher had three block solos and three block assists in the
loss.
Central returns to action at home on Saturday hosting Quinnipiac at
1 p.m. The Blue Devils will celebrate Dig Pink! on Saturday, helping to raise funds
and awareness for Breast Cancer research.
