Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Award
The women's soccer team earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
The Central Connecticut women's soccer team was recently honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for their performance in the classroom. The Blue Devils received the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
Coach Mick D'Arcy's squad earns the honor for the tenth consecutive year. The Blue Devils surpassed the minimum requirement of a 3.00 grade point average by posting a 3.28 GPA.
The Blue Devils were recognized along with 572 women's programs and 220 men's teams across the nation.
The Blue Devils are one of nine teams from the Northeast Conference to earn the award this season.
