Women's Golf Finishes Third at Lady Blue Devil Shoot Out
The Central Connecticut women's golf team finished third at the Lady Blue Devil Shoot Out on Sunday. The Blue Devils shot a team score of 355 over the 5,821 yard par-71 course at Wethersfield Country Club. The Blue Devils top finisher was sophomore Anna Ausanio who posted a 82 for her round.

The one day event was won by the University of Hartford with a 330 stroke performance. Fairfield finished second with a 343 stroke performance. Emily Linn took the individual honors with a round of 78.
For the Blue Devils Ausanio shot an 82 which placed her fourth in the individual standings. Freshman Elisabeth Beloin finished ninth with an 87 stroke performance. Sophomore Katie Reid was the next Blue Devil, she finished tied for 19th with a round of 91.
Senior Chelsea Woods finished tied for 16th and freshman Gina Grant finished 18th to round out the Blue Devil team. Woods shot a 95 and Grant a 97.
Playing as individuals were senior Jennie Dyson and Nicole Pizzoferrato. Dyson shot a 100 and Pizzoferrato posted a 105, they finished 19th and 21st respectively.
The Blue Devils return to action on Thursday at the Northeast Conference Championships. The NEC's will be played at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL.
