Women's Golf Finishes 21st at C & F Invitational
The Central Connecticut women's golf team finished the C & F Intercollegiate Tournament in 21st place. The Blue Devils shot a second day team scored of 342 on the 5,983 yard par-72 course. Central used 704 strokes to finish the event, coming in just ahead of Hofstra University. The tournament was hosted by the College of William and Mary and was won by Yale.

The Blue Devils top golfer over the weekend was sophomore Anna Ausanio. She posted a day two score of 83, one stroke better than her opening round 84, to finish with a 167 for the tournament. That total earned her a share of 60th.
Sophomore Stephanie Bednar also finished one stroke ahead of her first round score as she shot an 87 on Sunday. Her 175 strokes tied her for 85th. Sophomore Katie Reid continued her consistent play shooting an 89 in the second round to finish tied for 92nd with 177 strokes in the tournament.
Rounding out the Blue Devil five were freshman Elisabeth Beloin and senior Chelsea Woods. Beloin tied for a team-best round by shooting and 83 on Sunday. That number gave her 185 strokes for the event. Woods shot a 107 on day two to finish with 210 strokes. Beloin finished tied for 104th and Woods in 110th.
The Blue Devils return to action next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Arnold Palmer Golf Club.
