Women's Golf in Fifth Place After Round One at Hawk Invitational
The Central Connecticut women's golf team stands in fifth place after the first round of the Hawk Invitational hosted by Monmouth University on Saturday. Katie Reid and Anna Ausanio each shot a round one 90 to sit in a tie for 16th place. Hofstra and Long Island lead the tournament with a 336. Central shot a 371 on the first day.

The 2011 Monmouth Women's Golf Hawk Invitational is being played at
Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood, N.J. The course will be a par-72
and 6,054 yards.
Monmouth is third (339) followed by Wagner (347), the Blue Devils,
St. Francis (NY) (387) and Quinnipiac (433). Hofstra and Long
Island lead the tournament. Hofstra is the lone entry in the
tournament that is not a member of the Northeast Conference.
Reid and Ausanio lead the Blue Devils with their 80s in the first

Woods is tied for 23rd with a 95. Gina Grant is tied for 25th
with a 96 and Nicole
Pizzoferrato shot a day one total of 123 for CCSU.
