Women's Golf Takes Sixth at ECAC Championships
The Central Connecticut women's golf team finished sixth at the 2010 ECAC Championships held at Twisted Dune Golf Club. The Blue Devils were led by sophomore Katie Reid who finished fifth.
The Central Connecticut women's golf team finished sixth at the 2010 ECAC Championships held at Twisted Dune Golf Club. The Blue Devils were led by sophomore Katie Reid who finished fifth.
The Central Connecticut women posted a team score of 490 strokes over the 27 holes. The tournament was stopped after only nine holes on the second day because of rain and deteriorating course conditions. Sacred Heart University won the event with a team score of 478, 12 strokes ahead of the Blue Devils.
The tournament was won by Sarah Knapp of Dartmouth who shot a 109. Reid was only six strokes off the pace when play was stopped, and finished with a 115. As a top five finisher Reid was named to the ECAC All-Tournament Team.
