Women's Golf in Third Place After Day One of Hartford Women's Invitational

The tournament is being played at Rock Ledge Country Club in West Hartford, CT. The course is a par-72 and is 5,801 yards long. The Blue Devils shot a day one score of 332 and are 17 shots back of leader Sacred Heart.

Ausanio paced the Blue Devils and is tied for fifth place after
shooting an 80 on the first day of the tournament. Teammates Chelsea
Woods and Gina
Grant each shot an 83 on Monday, putting them in a tie for 11th
place overall. Katie
Reid shot an 86 (19th) and Elisabeth
Beloin fired an 88 to sit in a tie for 22nd place.
Sacred Heart leads the tournament with a day one score of 315.
Hartford is second (330) and the Blue Devils are third (332), just
two shots out of second place. Fairfield is fourth (335) and
Wagner rounds out the scoring in fifth after shooting a 347.
Two Blue Devils are playing as individuals in the tournament. Jennie
Dyson (101) and Nicole
Pizzoferrato (103) rounded out the scores for CCSU on the first
day.
The tournament will conclude with the final 18 holes on Tuesday at
Rock Ledge.
