Women's Golf Sits in 22nd after Day One of C & F Bank Intercollegiate
The Central Connecticut women's golf team sits in 22nd place after the first day of the C & F Bank Women's Intercollegiate Invitational. The Blue Devils posted a team score of 362 on day one of the tournament hosted by the College of William and Mary Sophomore Anna Ausanio led the Blue Devils, she finished tied for 63rd after shooting an 84 on the 5,983 yard par-72 course.

Ausanio shot a 44 on the front nine and then followed that with a 40 on the backside to finish with an 84. Sophomores Katie Reid and Stephanie Bednar both tied for 85th on the day after shooting 88. Reid shot a 45 on the front and a 43 on the back, while Bednar posted the inverse going 43 and 45.
Freshman Elisabeth Beloin and senior Chelsea Woods each shot a 52 on the front nine. Beloin edged Woods by a stroke on the back nine as she shot a 50. Beloin's 102 placed her 109th, and the 103 put Woods at 110th.
The Blue Devils will finish the C & F Bank Tournament tomorrow with a round of 18.
