Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Team And Individual Academic Honors
Five Blue Devils tabbed for Honor Roll
The Central Connecticut lacrosse team was honored for its success in the classroom, with the announcement of the IWLCA Academic Awards. The Blue Devils earned 2023 Academic Honor Squad recognition.
Olivia Gianakos, Gaby Melendez, Madison Palumbo, Katelyn Parker and Kya Risher were named to the Division I Honor Roll.
To qualify for the team honor, the team must post a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The individual honor roll is presented to student-athletes who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and are a junior, senior, or graduate student.
The IWLCA honored 928 student-athletes across all NCAA levels, from 95 institutions, for the 2023 Academic Honor Roll. The coaches orginization honored 287 teams for the 2023 Acadamic Honor Squad.
