Howie Dickenman Retirement Roast Scheduled for May 20
Dickenman retired from CCSU in 2016 after 20 years as head coach
Former head men's basketball coach Howie Dickenman will be the subject of a retirement roast on Saturday, May 20, at 6 p.m. at the Farmington Marriott. A cocktail hour will run from 6-7 p.m., followed by the dinner and the roast beginning at 7 p.m.
Special guests for the evening includes UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma, former UConn men's basketball coaches Jim Calhoun and Dee Rowe, Rutgers head men's basketball coach Steve Pikiell, and New Britain mayor and CCSU alum Erin Stewart.

Dickenman retired from CCSU following the 2015-16 season, after spending 20 years as the head coach at his alma mater. He brought the Blue Devils three Northeast Conference Championships and made three trips to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
